The Australian Outback is a harsh unforgiving environment, in drought, it’s arid, desolate and dusty, at the time of filming one place we filmed had 80mm of rain in a decade. We worked with our client to follow a journey of 150 trucks, driving over 2,000 kilometres to help farmers in need.
Sounds like a fairly straightforward task, however filming a rolling convoy, that ain’t stopping for nothing, isn’t that easy. Filmed over 5 days, this was agame of logistical gymnastics – trying to film the trucks passing but notgetting left behind.
This brand hero video that was a key driver for donations on a social media campaign, raising tens of thousands of dollars. Further, the founder of the charity held a private viewing with the board of the Commonwealth Bank of Australia; they immediately granted the charity half a million dollars.
That’s the power of a video that’s done right.
